Trimble SketchUp Plugin

Export to LumenRT: On the SketchUp main menu, go to Plugins (At the right corner of the menu bar) > Export to LumenRT Connet Edition

On PC platforms, you can see the LumenRt Plugin Icon. LumenRT Export icon.

There are several model export methods available in the Model Export Options sub menu:

Exports the model using the full SketchUp model hierarchy as shown in the SketchUp Outliner window. This produces the most detailed BIM information on large models having 10,000 components or more. This is the default model export mode. Also, you can export the selected object in to the LumenRT scene.

Adding LumenRT Immersive Nature Content - To access LumenRT content in SketchUp, open the SketchUp Components window and navigate to the LumenRT folder. Placing LumenRT items in a model is accomplished in the same manner as placing any SketchUp component - by dragging the item into the scene and using the standard SketchUp position, rotate and scale tools to orient the item.

Exporting Lights - Lights are added to SketchUp using LumenRT Light proxies. To add a light, select Plugins>LumenRT>Lights>Point Light> or Spot Light. Alternatively, on PC platforms you can click the light icons. You can access the light parameters dialog by selecting the LumenRT Light Parameters option from the light's pop up menu. Using this dialog you can adjust the light settings and set an IES Profile.

SketchUp LumenRT Material Editor - LumenRT provides an enhanced LumenRT Material Editor directly inside of SketchUp. The LumenRT Material Editor is accessed by going to the SketchUp menu Plugins>LumenRT>Edit Materials. The LumenRT Material Editor contains all of the active materials used in the SketchUp model. Each material is accessible from the Material drop-down control or by using the LumenRT Material Editor Picker to select materials from objects in the scene.

Creating Video Clip Objects- The LumenRT Material Editor allows users to embed video clips as textures on a SketchUp object. To do this, access the LumenRT material Editor and load in a video using the video filw browser control. You may need to adjust the positional mapping of the video on the SketchUp object by using SketchUp's imageadjustment controls (right-click texture > position).

Exporting Camera Animations Paths - Animation paths are created in SketchUp by using SketchUp scene tabs and setting the associated animation path properties. Each scene tab in SketchUp represents a single camera key frame. When aggregated together, the scene tabs create a full-motion camera animation path.

If the SketchUp model contains scene tabs, LumenRT will automatically create an animation path derived from these tabs in a fashion similar to how SketchUp creates animations. The animation timing and hold frames are controlled by whatever timings are used in the SketchUp model.

The animation path created in LumenRT is a close approximation of the actual SketchUp animation path although there may be some minor differences.
